Using too much this week? Or is there still room to explore before the reset? QuotaEcho is a macOS menu bar app that puts the weekly allowance shared by Codex and Work beside time remaining, helping you make sense of your working pace. See your current pace • Compare allowance remaining and time to reset on the same scale. • Use the gap to see whether usage is ahead of an even weekly pace or you have headroom. • See the reset countdown in hours and minutes. • Rereads compatible local Codex records at launch and updates as new records appear. • Marks usage as Unconfirmed and pauses Gap and pace guidance when a read fails or a record is over 65 minutes old. After the weekly allowance runs out • Keep track of the time until reset. • When a credit balance is available, see the starting balance, net change since tracking began, and latest balance. • This is a net balance change that may also reflect top-ups, grants, expiration or corrections, not a total of spending transactions. • Unknown balances and missing post-reset records are shown as checking or waiting for an update. Look back at changes • Review up to five periods with the largest usage changes over the last 7 days (168 hours). • Compare roughly hourly readings, with periods shown using the actual timestamps recorded by Codex. • See associated task names and recorded model and reasoning settings. • Review turns, processing time, concurrent activity and tool counts. • Open the associated task in Codex to revisit the work. Make it comfortable • Japanese and English interfaces. • Choose Light or Dark within the app. • Optional interaction sounds. Your activity stays on your Mac QuotaEcho processes the local Codex records you permit it to read. No OpenAI sign-in, password or API key is entered into QuotaEcho. It does not send the activity it reads to the developer or modify Codex records. Before you buy Requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 13 or later, with compatible Codex weekly-allowance records stored locally. Availability of individual details depends on those records and may change with Codex updates. Comparisons use readings available after your initial read permission. Each period must fall entirely within the last 7 days. History stays after reset, with usage changes calculated separately within each weekly window. If a recorded interval differs from about an hour, its duration is shown too. Older records without a Codex timestamp use the time QuotaEcho checked them. Codex, Work and other supported services share the allowance. Task and processing details cover activity available on your Mac. They provide context for your own review, not per-task consumption figures or a definitive cause. QuotaEcho is independently developed and is not affiliated with, provided by or endorsed by OpenAI.

Improved usage and reset-time updates. • Rereads Codex records at launch and follows the latest available usage and reset time. • Keeps current values updating even if history cannot be saved. • Marks usage as Unconfirmed when a read fails or a record is old, hiding outdated Gap and pace guidance. Guidance resumes automatically after a fresh record is confirmed. • Adds credit balances and balance changes after the weekly allowance is used up. • Improves Help and automatic history migration. No file copying is needed.
