AwardGrid
Award seats in one table
Only for iPhone
Free
iPhone
One table of award seats for the routes and dates you choose. Try every screen on built-in sample data, or connect your own data-provider account to see its results.
AwardGrid puts award seats for several origins, several destinations and up to 92 days into one table. Each cell shows the lowest miles for each cabin you asked for, with the program and the seats left; each option also shows its fees and how old the data is.
• Sample data: search any route between the 84 airports AwardGrid recognises, over the next 12 months, and use every screen on built-in, clearly labelled sample data, without an account and with nothing sent anywhere.
• Search in English or Chinese, for several origins and destinations over a range of dates.
• List, calendar and matrix views, and a side-by-side comparison of up to four options.
• My programs: choose the credit card points and airline programs you have, and new searches start with the programs you can use. These names stay on your iPhone.
• Route watches: watch up to 20 routes, each one city to one city, with a miles target for each cabin. Watches are checked when you open or return to the app, and in the background when iOS allows. iOS decides when, if at all, and leaves at least a day between background checks. When a background check finds a route at or below its target, your iPhone shows a notification made on the device, not sent from a server. On sample data, watches are checked only when you open the app.
• Plan a trip: type a trip to see how AwardGrid reads it, save the plan on your iPhone, and try it on sample data.
Your own award data (optional): if you have an account at the third-party award-data provider AwardGrid supports, with API access (the provider decides which accounts have it; AwardGrid sells nothing), you can connect it to see results from that account instead of sample data, with the provider's own sign-in. AwardGrid has no in-app purchases.
Results from the provider are its cached data: confirm on the program's own site before you transfer points.
AwardGrid never sees the password to your provider account, and the sign-in tokens stay in your iPhone's Keychain, with iCloud Keychain sync off. Searches go from the iPhone directly to the provider. A small token service at awardgrid.dowhiz.com exchanges and refreshes the sign-in tokens for AwardGrid; it stores nothing and keeps no logs of tokens. AwardGrid for iPhone has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
AwardGrid is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by its data provider, any airline, or any loyalty program.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• My programs: in Settings, choose the credit card points and airline programs you have. New searches start with the programs you can use.
• Route watches with targets: after a search, choose routes to watch and set a miles target for each cabin. When a background check finds a route at or below its target, your iPhone shows a notification. iOS decides when, if at all, and leaves at least a day between background checks.
• A simpler Search screen: one box that shows how AwardGrid reads what you type. It now reads countries ("Seattle to Korea") and parts of a month ("late December").
