A young jumping spider's big adventure across a back garden, into the house, down the Ant Nest and under the pond, with something new every day. You're a young jumping spider, and the back garden is a whole world. Grandma Orba's Glimmerstones have gone missing. Leap out of Doorstep Hollow and follow the trail across the lawn, the pond, the ant-guarded bramble hedge and the vegetable patch to the Old Shed and a showdown with Sir Clank the stag beetle. Then climb the ivy to the kitchen window, where the house holds two more Glimmerstones, go deep under the lawn into the Ant Nest to meet the Queen, and take a bubble of air down to the bottom of the pond to bring Belle's diving bell home. LEAP EVERYWHERE Jump high to climb flowerpots and planters, pounce to boop critters, and stalk quietly to sneak up on skittish prey. Earn silk and zip to places you could only look at before, tie on to brass hooks and pull, glide from the rockery to the pond, and carry a bubble of air under water. FOUR CHAPTERS, ONE BIG GARDEN Crack the Old Shed's puzzles, explore a kitchen, a hall and a study full of spider-sized climbs, find your way through the tunnels, gardens and galleries of the Ant Nest, and dive through the weed forests of the pond floor. Small hidden hollows, secret shortcuts and lost things are tucked all over the garden. MEET THE NEIGHBOURS A village of tiny characters, each with a home, a wish, errands to run and letters to send. Make friends, bring them presents, and race Pip, joust in Sir Clank's tourney and dig with Dusty. SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY The garden follows the real calendar. Grow cress, radishes, wild strawberries and sunflowers on a plot of your own. Dotty has a special each day and a new hat and coat in her window each week, and every Saturday Madame Velour brings rare things to her stall on the lawn. Rain, Halloween and Christmas change the garden too. COLLECT AND DRESS UP Sketch critters for Professor Stick's field notes, find every heart petal, and choose from dozens of hats and coats. Your journal keeps track of it all. GENTLE AND FORGIVING Booped critters tumble away and come back later. Run out of hearts and silk carries you back to safety, with everything you found still in your pocket. Nothing wilts and nothing is lost while you're away.
