Menurette is a dinner roulette for the whole family. Tonight it's a child's turn: flick the wheel with a finger, hear it click round, and wherever it stops is dinner.
SPINNING IS HALF THE FUN

EVERYONE GETS A TURN

A SMART, FAIR DRAW
- Dishes you had recently come up less often
- So do dishes from the same cuisine or with the same main ingredient as yesterday
- Family favourites come up more often
The weighting happens when the wheel is filled. On the wheel itself every slice is the same size, so where it stops is what you get - fair, and easy for kids to trust.
"NO THANKS!" CARDS
Everyone gets a few re-spins a week (three to start with, back every Monday). A dish that gets turned down stays off the wheel for the rest of the day.
FILTERS
Spin only Japanese, Western or Chinese dishes, only meat or fish, or only quick meals.
COOK FROM YOUR FRIDGE
Tap the ingredients you have and only the dishes that use them go on the wheel (when two or more match; with just one match, other dishes fill the rest of the wheel). A dish that's missing an ingredient still counts. The result screen lists what you have and what you still need, so it doubles as a shopping hint. Your picks are not saved and reset once dinner is decided.
24 DISHES TO START WITH
Curry rice, hamburg steak, fried chicken, gyoza, hand-rolled sushi and more staples of Japanese home cooking. Add, edit or remove whatever you like.
PLAN THE WEEK
Spin seven days in a row, with no dish twice. The week goes straight into your history.
SHOPPING LIST
Build a shopping list from the ingredients of the dinners you've picked. Tick things off as you buy them, and add or remove items by hand.
HISTORY AND STATISTICS
Every dinner you decide is kept by date, along with who spun. See what you eat most and how often everyone has spun.
WHEEL THEMES
Pick one of four pairings of colours and sounds: Standard, Pastel, Vivid and Night.
HOME SCREEN WIDGET
See tonight's dinner and whose turn it is on your Home Screen. Tap it and the wheel starts spinning.
SYNC WITH ICLOUD
Dishes, family, history and the shopping list sync across iPhones and iPads signed in to the same Apple ID. Turn it off in Settings if you like. Your data lives in your own iCloud, and the developer cannot see it.
