Mac
Tysha is a messenger that starts with a name you invented, not with your phone number. This is Tysha for Mac: it links to an account created on iPhone.
GETTING STARTED
The account is created on iPhone. Open Tysha on the Mac - it shows a QR code; on the iPhone go to Settings → Devices → Add device and point the camera. The Mac's camera is not needed.
IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC
Tysha runs on iPhone and iPad. A second device is linked to your account with a code from the main one; every device has its own keys, and they never leave it. The main device manages the account, and a linked one can be unlinked at any time. All your conversations stay encrypted. Security does not break.
The Mac links the same way - and has its own keys too.
FROM NOW ON, NOT FROM THE START
The Mac shows conversations from the moment it was linked. Earlier messages stay on the phone: they were never on the server, so there is nowhere to move them from. Contacts and groups arrive right away.
ENCRYPTED ON THE DEVICES
Every message is encrypted on the device: libsignal, PQXDH key agreement (X25519 + ML-KEM-1024), Double Ratchet. This Mac's key is created on it and never leaves it.
WHAT THE SERVER GETS
A sealed envelope: bytes, size, time and a queue address. It never sees text, files, voice messages or an address book. No ads, no third-party analytics, no profiling.
WHAT IS INSIDE
- replies, edits, forwarding, reactions, search in a conversation
- voice messages recorded on the Mac, files up to 1 GB with resume, photos and video, a conversation's "Media and files"
- view once, disappearing messages, scheduled sending
- a lock code with Touch ID, a wipe after ten wrong attempts
- "hide content" (⌘⇧H), blocking window screenshots, a menu bar icon
- voice and video calls one to one and in groups of up to five, screen sharing; answer on any of your devices and the others go quiet
- scheduled calls: an invitation in the chat, "Going / Not going", reminders
- separate sounds for messages and calls: Tysha's catalog or your own file
- Ukrainian and English, light and dark themes
WHAT WE DO NOT PROMISE
A wipe on the Mac destroys the storage key and the app's data, not the disk: turn on FileVault for full protection. The lock protects the screens; it does not re-encrypt the store.
WHAT IT COSTS
Free. If a paid part ever appears, it will not be a charge for privacy: privacy is not a feature, it is a precondition.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
The Mac copied the iPhone's homework. This time we allowed it.
- turning on disappearing messages no longer takes your old history with it
- a call does not start until you answer
- someone you only know from a group asks permission first, and you decide on your iPhone
- only your contacts can add you to a new group
- when two people edit a scheduled call at once, both end up with the same version
