DESIGNED FOR OFFLINE LISTENING TickPlay is built around local playback. Transfer the files you want, leave your phone behind, and keep your music with you. SUPPORTED FORMATS Audio: FLAC, MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, OGG and Opus. Video: MP4, MOV. Lyrics: LRC. Your music stays on your watch: no account, no cloud and no streaming service required to play your own files. • Keep the watch and the computer on the same Wi-Fi network before starting a transfer. • Lyrics load automatically from a .lrc file with the same name as the track. • Long-press the speed button to pick a rate; the last choice becomes the default. • The Download screen browses one remote folder at a time, so you can select everything in it and pull it all down in one pass. • A transfer that drops out leaves finished files intact; scan again and only the missing ones come down. • Tap the album artwork during playback to open full-screen scrolling lyrics. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Formats: Audio: MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV and M4B play natively. FLAC, OGG, Opus, WMA and APE are decoded by the built-in engine. Video: MP4, M4V, MOV and 3GP. Files in other containers can be transferred and stored, but will not play. Lyrics: LRC timed lyrics load automatically from a file with the same name as the track. Full-screen scrolling with the current line centred and highlighted. UTF-8 and GB18030 encodings. Transfer: Local Wi-Fi transfer from a Mac or PC over HTTP. No cable, no USB, no iTunes, no cloud, no companion app. The computer needs nothing installed beyond a file server; python3 -m http.server is enough. Downloads are integrity-checked and filed automatically into audio and video. Playback: Background audio keeps playing after you leave the app or lower your wrist. Playlist loop, shuffle and repeat-one. Variable speed from 0.5x to 2.0x with a long-press picker. Resume from the exact position you stopped at. Full-screen video, then back to audio without a restart. Controls: Digital Crown seeking with a live progress bar. Plus or minus 15 second skip buttons. Tap the artwork for lyrics; tap the screen for full-screen video. A dedicated volume screen driven by the crown. Swipe between the four tabs. Storage: On-watch storage with a quota of 500 MB, 1 GB or 2 GB. Automatic cleanup after playback and manual cache clearing. Every file is integrity-checked on arrival and flagged if it is incomplete. System: Apple Watch Ultra 3, Ultra 2, Ultra, Series 11, Series 10, Series 9, Series 8, Series 7, Series 6, Series 5, Series 4 and SE. watchOS 10 or later. Transfer source: macOS, Windows or Linux with any HTTP file server. Privacy: No account, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.
