Learn Hebrew letter by letter

Free · In‑App Purchases

Every Hebrew letter began as a picture — an ox, a house, a camel. Trace them, play with them and read your first words, from pictogram to page. Discover where letters come from. Every letter of the Hebrew aleph-bet began as a picture. Alef was an ox head. Bet was a house. Follow each one across 4,000 years — from pictogram to Phoenician, Greek and Latin — and the alphabet stops being a list of shapes and becomes a story you remember.
