• NarrationCue now requires macOS 15 Sequoia or later. On macOS 15 and later, PDF manuscripts import with their chapters, paragraphs and page clean-up intact, so we've made it the minimum. • Highlights that note-taking apps draw directly onto the page now carry over in their own colors. Import improvements apply to manuscripts you import from now on. To update a book you've already imported, import it again.

• Choose your reading font: San Francisco, New York, Georgia, Palatino, Charter, Helvetica Neue or Avenir Next. Bold and italics are kept, and your choice is remembered. • New Highlight menu: show the full passage, just the current word, or no highlight at all. The page still scrolls with your voice. • Dialogue from PDFs now comes in one speaker per paragraph, including books that mark paragraphs with spacing instead of indents. • Chapter openings with a large first letter now read as whole words and paragraphs. • Chapter lists from PDFs skip front matter (license pages, bibliographies, contents pages) and story text that is set like a heading. • A message set in bold that wraps onto a second line stays together. • PDF footnotes are now kept. Each one appears right after the paragraph that cites it, set apart in small italics, and the cue skips it. • Running headers that came apart from their page numbers no longer slip into the text. • The Chapter Markers window opens taller and can be resized. • When a PDF has scanned pages, the import note names the pages that were read with text recognition. • NarrationCue now lets you know when a new version is available. Import improvements apply to manuscripts you import from now on. To update a book you've already imported, import it again.

• Your PDF markup now comes in with the manuscript. Highlights, underlines and strikeouts keep their colors, and your typed notes and pause slashes appear on the page. The cue skips notes, slashes and struck-out words. • Better PDF text: more words with missing "ff", "fi" and "fl" letters are repaired. • Clearer help when the microphone sends no sound or your voice is under the Mic gate. Listen now recovers on its own after a speech-service interruption. • The chapter list ignores tables of contents and book lists. • Chapter Markers updates right after you delete a chapter. • Library import notes now wrap and scroll.

• Better PDF import: chapter headings and chapter numbers that sit at the top of a page are now kept, paragraph breaks are detected more reliably, and chapter openings (subtitles, epigraphs, split words and numbered lists) come through cleaner. • The show/hide toolbar button now stays in place. • Help now explains where to set the Mic gate.
