Mama Translate lets two people who don't share a language simply talk.
Put the phone on the table between you. Hold your button, speak, and let go: the other person hears it in their language, in a natural voice, about two seconds later, and reads it on their side of the screen, turned to face them.
IT REMEMBERS THE CONVERSATION
Most translators treat every sentence as the first. Mama Translate keeps track of what was said, so short answers, "him", "that one" and polite forms come out right.
BRING EVERYONE IN
Show a QR code or send a link, and up to four others join on their own phones, each in their own language. They don't need the app: it opens in their browser.

PRIVACY

Translate without internet
No signal on the train, abroad or in the countryside? Mama Translate can now hear, translate and speak using your iPhone alone. Download your languages once in Offline languages, and the app switches to offline by itself whenever the connection drops, and back when it returns. Offline mode comes with any pass, or for good with Offline forever.
Past conversations
Every conversation is now kept on your iPhone: what was said, its translation, and when. Search them all to find the address, the time or the name of the medicine someone told you. Your last 100 conversations stay on this iPhone only: they are not sent anywhere or backed up to iCloud.
Quicker and clearer
• The talk button answers the moment your finger touches it.
• If a phone or FaceTime call is using the microphone, the app now tells you plainly, and helps you turn the microphone on if it's off.
• If online translation is ever unavailable, the app translates offline instead, when your languages are downloaded.
• Small fixes and improvements.
