Photograph what you own, record what it's worth, and keep an insurance-ready report, so if a fire, flood, storm or theft ever hits, you can prove what you had. There's no account and no server: your inventory stays on your device. WHY AN INVENTORY Insurers ask for proof: what you owned, when and where you bought it, what it cost, and receipts. Most people have never written it down. homeInv makes it quick and keeps it organized. ONE ROOM IN MINUTES Start a Room Walkthrough: photograph the room from its corners, then snap each valuable item, name it, give it a rough value, and tap Save & Next. The camera reopens for the next item, so you can work through a room in minutes. Add receipts, serial numbers and purchase details later. ROOMS, CONTAINERS, ITEMS Organize by room, then by closet, dresser, cabinet or bin. Each item holds photos, category, quantity, condition, brand, model, serial number, purchase date and store, price paid, replacement value, receipts, warranty and return dates, and notes. Search everything by name, brand, serial or room. RECEIPTS, SCANNED Scan paper receipts with the built-in document scanner. It finds the edges, flattens the page, and handles long receipts over several pages. TOTALS AND REPORT READINESS See your home's value by room and by category. Report Readiness shows how many items have a photo, a value, a receipt, a purchase date and a serial number, so you know what to fill in. A COPY OUTSIDE YOUR HOME Export a PDF report with photos and values, or a CSV spreadsheet, and save it somewhere off-site. homeInv reminds you every 90 days to save a fresh copy, because a phone lost with the house can't prove anything. Exporting is included in the free version. HOMEINV PRO - Claim Mode: after a loss, mark items Lost or Damaged room by room, add notes and "after" photos, and send your adjuster a claim list PDF or CSV with photos, values and totals - Unlimited items (the free version holds 50) - Serial and model number scanning with the camera - Smart photo labels that suggest a name and category, right on your device - Reminders before return windows close and warranties end - Private iCloud sync across your devices PRIVATE BY DESIGN A list of your valuables shouldn't sit on someone else's server. homeInv has no account, no analytics and no ads. Photo labeling and scanning run on your device. With Pro, sync runs through your own private iCloud database, which we can't access. Values in homeInv are entered by you and are not an appraisal. homeInv is not affiliated with any insurance company. homeInv Pro is an auto-renewing annual subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
