Ictus sets out to be the most intuitive metronome you've used. Shape the bar, set the tempo and press play.
Shape the bar
Ictus allows you to build a bar of 2 to 16 beats and give each beat its own weight. Tap a beat to move it through four voices: a strong accent, a lighter accent, a plain click, or a rest. Odd meters, displaced accents and gaps in the pattern each only take a few taps.
Set the tempo
Tempo can be set anywhere from 20 to 400 BPM. Turn the dial to sweep across the range. Use plus and minus to adjust 1 beat per minute at a time, or hold press to jump in steps of 10. Use tap tempo to tap along with a song, so Ictus can pick up its tempo.
Quiet to look at
The dark interface stays calm on a music stand, in a rehearsal room or on stage.
