Trovva is a practical memory for your home: paint codes, part numbers, measurements, service history, and what is inside which box. Write it down once, and it is there when you need it — in the shop, or in a basement with no reception.
ONE KIND OF RECORD
A paint colour, a water filter, a window measurement and a box of outgrown clothes are all entries. Each one holds its own details, photos and files, a history of what has happened to it, and reminders. Starting points fill in the details that usually matter: a paint entry asks for a colour code, a stored box asks for a shelf. The fact you need most sits at the top, with a button that copies it.
THINGS INSIDE THINGS
Put the sleepsuits in the winter box, and the box on shelf B3 in the basement. Search for the sleepsuits and Trovva tells you how many there are, which box they are in, and where that box is.
UPKEEP THAT STAYS WITH THE THING
A reminder belongs to an entry, so when it arrives you are already looking at the part number and every time it was done before. A repeat can count from the calendar, or from the last time you actually did it. Alerts are scheduled on the phone itself, and if you turn them off, due dates still show in the app.
LISTS YOU USE AGAIN
Keep a packing list or a routine as a template, and start a fresh run from it each time. The list you started from stays as it was.
SAVE FROM OTHER APPS
Use the Share button in Photos, Safari or Files to send a photo, a link or a PDF to Trovva, then review it before it becomes an entry.
SHARE A HOUSEHOLD, IF YOU WANT TO
Household sharing is off until you turn it on. Share a household and its records reach the people you add by Apple ID, through your own iCloud rather than through us. It updates when you open Trovva, and it is not a backup.
YOUR RECORDS, ON YOUR PHONE
There is no account and no server: nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to. Until you share a household, Trovva makes no network requests at all. Trovva adds no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. Export a backup whenever you like — a file you keep wherever you keep things, with your records as readable JSON and your photos and files alongside them. Moving out, or leaving the house to a sitter? A household handover puts the records you choose into one readable file.

Leave out of exports. Mark a field, a photo, an entry's notes or a whole entry, and every handover you make leaves it out unless you tick it when you make one. Your own backups still include everything. A device's address, MAC address, switch and port start out marked.
Handovers read like a manual: a cover, contents when there is more than one record, and the items on your reusable lists. Printed, each place starts on a new page.
A saved shape now adds every field it was saved with, even when the entry already has a field by a similar name.
Safer restores. Only appearance, language and notification preferences are taken from a backup; sharing and other settings that belong to this device are never imported from the file. A backup from a different household is refused where it could mix two households. Joining a household now stops waiting after 30 seconds if iCloud does not answer.
