Most travel maps stop at national borders. Cartina goes down to provinces, states, regions and prefectures — 3,649 subdivisions across 239 countries. You did not “visit the United States”, you visited California, Oregon and Maine.
Everything works without a connection
Countries are identified on the device, from maps bundled inside the app. You can check off a country in the middle of the desert or in mid-flight. Even place search keeps answering offline, from the cities, landmarks and sites built into the app.

How many days abroad this year, how many you have left in the Schengen Area — and, when you are there, your last allowed day. With Cartina Pro: your days country by country against the 183-day threshold, and a reminder 7, 3 and 1 day before the Schengen limit.

With Cartina Pro, save a place from your Apple Watch, even with no iPhone nearby. Entries sync the next time the two meet. Widgets on the Home Screen and complications on your watch face.
Written on your device
On supported devices, Cartina writes the title and the summary of a trip from the places you saved. It all happens on the iPhone, offline, with no data leaving it.

Your data stays yours
No account to create. No server of ours. No ads. No tracking. Your map stays on your device and, if you want it to, in your private iCloud — which the developer has no access to. Place search and city names come from Apple Maps. When you paste a Google Maps link, Cartina opens it with Google; only that link is sent.
