The day's stops, the walk between them, and who owes whom. For a TREK server you host yourself. Waypoint is the iPhone app for a TREK server you already run. The Today tab is the day you are actually in. Stops sit in order, with the walk or ride to the next one, the booking that is coming up, and the place you sleep tonight. Weather for the next stop is one tap. The day's pins are on a map when you want them. Leave the app. If you stay at a stop long enough, Waypoint marks it done and moves on. That uses your location, including while the app is closed. You can say no. The plan still works. Costs are the other half. What the trip has cost, what you spent today, and, when you are splitting, who paid and who owes. Add an expense from the tab or from the widget. A Shortcut can send Apple Pay transactions on the trip into that same budget. Currency conversion uses public rates, so a receipt in another currency still lands in the trip's money. The next stop also lives on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. You type in the address of your TREK server and sign in. Waypoint does not run that server. The person who made the app cannot open your trips, your expenses, or your location.
