Spew is a real-time, head-to-head word battle. You and your opponent get the same eight letters. Build the strongest word you can, lock it in, and watch the two words clash. Knock your opponent from 100 HP to zero and it's a K.O. HOW IT WORKS • Both players get the same eight letters every round - no luck of the draw. • Letters can repeat, so there's always more to find than you think. • Tiles score like the classic board game - rare letters hit harder. • One tile each round is the SURGE: use it and its value doubles. • Longer words earn a length bonus. Use all eight letters for a big bonus. • Your score minus theirs, times four, is the damage dealt. • You share a two-minute chess clock for the whole match. Think too long and the clock beats you. WAYS TO PLAY • Quick Match — jump into a game against a real opponent in seconds. • Ranked Match — sign in and climb the leaderboard with your Clash Rating. • Create or Join Room — share a code and battle a friend. • Practice — warm up against a bot, any time. SHOW IT OFF • Earn badges for the moves that make you, you. • Wear your badge next to your name in every match and on the leaderboard. • Poke your opponent with emoji while you wait for them to lock in. No gimmicks. No pay-to-win. May the best word win.

What's new in Spew 1.1 FRIENDS • Challenge friends even while they're playing a practice bot. They'll get your invite mid-game. • Push notifications when someone sends you a friend request or accepts yours. • Friend status is more accurate: see who's online and ready to play. • The friends list scrolls smoothly, with no lag when inviting a friend to a room. ROOMS & REACTIONS • React with emojis on the game-over screen while you look back at the rounds. • New emoji reaction. • If the room creator leaves, you keep the room and become the host. SETTINGS • Settings is now its own page, with your player card, rank and record. • New option to show or hide tile letter values. • Quick links to feedback, privacy and support. Delete account now lives under Help. Plus smoother scrolling everywhere and lots of small fixes.
