Spansheet is a focused team structure planner for Mac. Create a team, add positions, assign a manager to each role, and see reporting lines as a readable chart. Mark a position open to keep hiring plans visible alongside filled roles.
Use the position register to find people and roles, and the Openings view to review vacancies. The inspector shows a manager's direct report count and lets you reparent positions without redrawing a diagram. Import a UTF-8 CSV with the documented seat columns; missing managers, duplicate IDs, and reporting cycles are rejected before the team is added.
Export a vector PDF chart with a position register, or a UTF-8 CSV roster. Projects save locally on this Mac and start empty. A clearly labeled fictional example is available by choice. Spansheet supports up to 80 positions per team and a single reporting manager per position. It is a planning tool, not an HR system of record.
One purchase. No account, subscription, ads, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, or developer-server upload. Names and notes leave the app only when you choose to export them.
