A PLAN FOR YOUR DAY
Choose a species, a spot and a day. Check the weather and estimated water temperature, and change anything you know better. Plans take account of light, water clarity, spot type and wind. For barbel, river flow replaces wind.
Every plan includes:
- A seasonal pattern based on water temperature.
- A first choice of lure, soft plastic, bait rig or fly, with an explanation of why it fits.
- Where to cast, how deep to fish and how to work the lure or bait.
- Lure colours matched to water clarity and light.
- Plan B: up to four more ranked options, with cues for when to switch.
YOUR TACKLE, YOUR WAY
Tell Baitlore whether you fish from the bank, a boat or a kayak, and what is in your box: soft plastics, hard lures, spinners and spoons, bait or fly. Boat-only options are left out on the bank. Tackle you have is ranked ahead of tackle you don't.

Explore community fishing spots, save favourites and plan from them.
With an account, you can add a spot or suggest edits. Added spots are reviewed by a person before they become public.
