SSem TouchOTP is a menu bar authenticator for two-step verification codes (TOTP and HOTP) that opens only with the fingerprints enrolled on your Mac right now. SEALED BY THE SECURE ENCLAVE • Every secret is encrypted with a key bound to your Mac’s Secure Enclave and Touch ID. • No password fallback: the vault opens only with your current fingerprints. • Adding or removing a fingerprint makes the existing vault permanently unopenable, even by a fingerprint added later. FULLY OFFLINE • The app has no network access at all: no sync, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no update checks. • Your accounts are stored encrypted on your Mac only. We never see them. QUICK TO USE • Codes live in the menu bar. Click a code to copy it. • Copied codes are cleared after 30 seconds, stay off Universal Clipboard, and are marked so clipboard history apps skip them. • Locks after 30 seconds to 5 minutes of inactivity, and immediately on screen lock, screen saver, sleep or user switching. EASY TO SET UP • Add accounts from a QR image: paste a screenshot or drop an image file. • Import “Export accounts” QR codes from Google Authenticator, including exports split across several codes. • Paste an otpauth:// address or type the secret key. • TOTP and HOTP; SHA-1, SHA-256 and SHA-512; 6 to 8 digits. ENCRYPTED BACKUPS • Export every account to a passphrase-encrypted backup file and restore it after a fingerprint change or on a new Mac. • The app can generate a strong random passphrase for you. GOOD TO KNOW • Requires a Mac with Touch ID, or an Apple silicon Mac with a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and a macOS login password. • Adding or removing a fingerprint makes the existing vault impossible to open, so keep a backup. • Available in English and Korean.
