Wonderwhy turns the topics you pick into a short audio news briefing. While you listen, hold the mic and ask about the story: the answer comes in the same voice, then the briefing picks up where it left off.
Every story is built from several news sources. Wonderwhy shows where they agree, where they conflict and what only one source reports, with a link to each publisher.
LISTEN
• A briefing of a few minutes (ten at most) from the sections you choose: top stories, business, world, sports, tech and more
• Türkiye, US and World editions, in English and Turkish
• A short summary of every story, and a longer version if you want more
ASK
• Hold the mic and ask while you listen. The answer comes from the story; if the story doesn't cover it, the answer says so and gives brief background
• Ready-made questions: "Why it matters", "More detail" and "What sources say"
COMPARE
• See how different sources tell the same story: where they agree, where they conflict, what only one of them says
• Coverage of the same story is grouped into one, with its sources listed and linked
• No left or right labels on outlets: you see what each source reports and decide for yourself
LIBRARY
• Save stories and build a listening queue; it syncs across your devices
NOTIFICATIONS
• A morning briefing notification at the time you choose
• Alerts for major developments stay off until you turn them on. Then: at most two a day, never between 10 pm and 8 am your time
IN THE BACKGROUND
• Keep listening after you leave the app and on the Lock Screen
• Pause or skip to the next story from the Lock Screen and your headphones
GOOD TO KNOW
• Free in this version, with no ads and no in-app purchases
• An account is required: sign in with email, Apple or Google, and your briefing and Library follow you across devices
• Summaries and answers are generated with AI from public news sources, so they can contain mistakes. Every story shows its sources, and every story and answer has a way to report an error
