Finding someone to practice a language with is not always easy. Jogen lets you choose an AI conversation partner and use what you have learned in everyday, travel and work situations, through text and live voice.
LIVE VOICE CALLS
Speak into your microphone and hear AI replies from characters marked as supporting calls. Turn captions on or off, mute your microphone and end the call whenever you like. Live calls are available only with supported characters, not real people.
CHARACTERS AND VOICES
Characters have their own occupations, personalities, background stories and voice settings. Browse their profiles and preview their voices before choosing a conversation partner.
TEXT CHAT AND PRACTICAL SCENES
Choose a character and scene to practice ordering food, asking directions, talking about daily life or expressing yourself at work. The AI responds to what you say. Play spoken replies to practice listening before answering.
TRANSLATIONS AND PRONUNCIATION HELP
Replies appear in the language you are learning. Show or hide the translation as needed. Pronunciation help varies by learning language and can be toggled; replay the audio to check how a sentence sounds and what it means.
NOTES FOR YOUR CURRENT CONVERSATION
Open notes for your current conversation to review dialogue excerpts, vocabulary already included in replies and existing pronunciation annotations.
12 LANGUAGES, SEPARATE INTERFACE AND LEARNING SETTINGS
Practice Mandarin Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, Russian, German, Portuguese, Thai, Italian and Vietnamese. Set your interface and learning languages independently, such as learning Japanese with a Chinese interface or English with a Japanese interface.

The app is free to download. Browse characters and scenes without signing in. AI conversations and live calls require sign-in, an internet connection and points. Point packs are one-time in-app purchases, not auto-renewing subscriptions. See the app for point usage and current prices.
For ages 13 and up. Characters are fictional AI, and replies may contain mistakes; they are not professional advice. The app explains data transmission and processing and asks for consent before using AI features. Voice calls require microphone permission.
