Bindette: Audiobook Maker
Merge audio into M4B books
$3.99
Drop a folder of audio files and get one M4B audiobook with chapters, a cover and all its details. AAC is copied without re-encoding: a long book in seconds.
Turn a folder of MP3s, M4As or FLAC files into one proper audiobook: a single M4B file with chapters, a cover, the author and the narrator, ready for Apple Books and every audiobook player.
DROP, AND IT'S DONE
• Drop files or a whole folder. Bindette puts them in natural order (Chapter 2 before Chapter 10), or by their disc and track numbers.
• Every file becomes a chapter, named from its tags or its cleaned-up file name. M4B and M4A files keep the chapters they already have.
• The title, author, narrator and cover are found in the files, or in a cover.jpg beside them.
FAST, AND WITHOUT LOSS
When every file is AAC of one kind, Bindette copies the audio into the book as it is: no re-encoding, no loss, a 20-hour book in seconds. Anything else is encoded as AAC, several files at once, at the bitrate, channels and sample rate you choose, with a size estimate before you start.
CHAPTERS YOUR WAY
• Rename chapters in place, merge them or split them at a time.
• Split by silence: see the waveform with its pauses, set the threshold and the lengths, and watch the cuts appear before you add them.
• Import and export chapter lists as plain text or CUE sheets.
EVERY DETAIL OF THE BOOK
Title, author, narrator, series and number, year, genre, description, publisher and copyright. Drop, paste or choose a cover, pick one from any file, and crop it to a square.
MADE TO PLAY EVERYWHERE
Each book gets both a QuickTime chapter track, which Apple's players read, and a Nero chapter list, for the others, plus the audiobook tags. After writing, Bindette opens the book again to check its chapters, length and audio.
YOUR BOOKS, ANYWHERE
Pick files or folders in the Files app. Every book is saved as you go. A long book keeps being made when you switch apps, and the finished M4B goes to Files, Books or any player through the share sheet.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Bindette never connects to the internet. Your audio, covers and books stay on your device. No account, no tracking.
