Mac
Let it snow on your Mac: drifts, icicles, a snowplow, and snowballs for your friends' screens. Santa and his sleigh are in the Pro crew.
Warm Mittens makes it snow on your Mac.
Soft flakes drift down over everything you do. They settle on the tops of your windows and slide off when you move them. At the bottom of the screen the snow piles up into a drift, and when it gets deep a little snowplow rumbles through and clears it.
• Snow that lands on your windows and builds drifts at the bottom of the screen
• Little icicles grow under your windows while it snows. Shake a window (or scrub them with the mouse) to snap them off
• Light flurries to a full blizzard, with wind
• A snowplow to clear the drift, with engine sound (click it for a boost)
• Pomodoro snow: the drift fills over 25 minutes of focus, the plow clears it for a 5 minute break
• Throw snowballs at your friends' screens: aim, pick a note, and splat it right on their desktop
• Snowy wallpapers, from a winter park to a village at night
• Optional night-wind sounds for a cozy snowstorm
• Lives in the menu bar, stays out of your way, and never covers your clicks
Snowballs only come from friends you've accepted, carry one of a set of friendly preset notes, and you can turn them off any time. Throw 10 a day for free.
WARM MITTENS PRO
A one-time purchase that supports the app:
• Santa clears your drift on his snowmobile, towing his sleigh full of presents
• A flamethrower crew that melts the drift (hold to blast, double-click for a big one)
• A giant snowball that rolls up the whole drift
• 100 snowballs a day instead of 10, for as long as the snowball service runs
Santa, the flamethrower and the giant snowball run on your Mac and keep working for good. Snowballs between friends use an online service that may change or be discontinued in the future.
