Plan where to cheer in Chicago, estimate when to expect your runner, and compare viewing spots. Explore three 2026 marathon courses. Plan where to cheer in Chicago, estimate when to expect your runner, and compare viewing spots along the course. Enter your runner’s actual start time and expected pace or finish time. Course Atlas compares eight viewing spots and the walking estimates included in its Chicago guide. See estimated runner arrival windows, whether to stay or move to a later spot, and when to leave. Enter a sighting when your runner passes to update the estimate. Spectator plans use the times and sightings you enter. They do not provide live runner tracking or turn-by-turn walking directions. Recommendations appear only when you are near one of the eight viewing approaches, your location is fresh and accurate, and you confirm legal sidewalk access. While walking between those approaches, recommendations are unavailable. Walking times are unverified planning estimates; follow race-day restrictions and check access on site. Finish viewing requires valid access. Explore the 2026 Chicago, Philadelphia and Toronto Waterfront marathon courses on an Apple Maps basemap. Zoom in to see estimated kilometre or mile markers and available elevation profiles. Choose Metric or Imperial units in Settings, and optionally use your location to find nearby points on the course. Your runner setup stays on your device. No account is required. Nearby-course matching also runs on your device. Course and terrain data are included in the app; Apple Maps needs available or cached map data. Chicago includes a static CTA rail reference, without live service information. Course Atlas is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by race organizers or CTA. Routes and distance markers are approximate and are not intended for race-day navigation, exact splits or progress tracking. Elevation coverage varies, and missing or unsupported spans remain blank. The profile is not surveyed road-deck elevation and does not claim total climb. Data provided by Chicago Transit Authority. Terrain sources: USGS and Natural Resources Canada. • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

The course is easier to read: orange routes and distance markers, clearer lines as you zoom, more precise elevation labels close up, and more room when using larger text. Chicago’s spectator map now matches the main course view.
