- On big 10x10 and 11x11 boards, flower bed colors are now arranged so that beds next to each other are easier to tell apart. The boards and answers are the same. - On big boards, the square you tap now lights up the moment you press it. - New flower beds in your garden now line up neatly. With 24 beds, the rows from the back are 4, 5, 5, 5 and 5. If a decoration or pot is in the way, it is moved to another spot first. Nothing is lost. - A flower bed that could not be placed because the garden was full is now placed right away when you put away or move a pot. - Shop text no longer breaks in the middle of a word, and the spacing between items is more even. - The Japanese tit and tree frog have been redrawn with cleaner colors and shapes.

Up to level 12, every level up adds a new flower bed. - From level 3, add as many flower beds as you like at the shop with acorns. Prices go from 30 to 100. You can have up to 24 beds, depending on your garden size. - Reaching level 5 on your first day is now much easier. - You usually hold up to 9 seeds of flowers already in your field guide. Extra seeds turn into 5 acorns each. Seeds of new flowers and sparkling seeds always come as seeds. - A clearer shop. Add flower beds is at the very top. Items show a preview in a garden and how many more acorns you need. New items get a New label. - Birdhouses bring Japanese tits, birdbaths bring white-eyes, and ponds bring tree frogs. With a beehive, bees come every day. - If you bought flower beds in an earlier version, you get the price difference back in acorns. Seeds you can't keep become acorns, and seeds to plant are kept. Your level never goes down.

- New Year's garden: from Dec 26, New Year decorations in the shop. Jan 1-7: first sunrise, Mochidon as a kagami mochi, a daily fortune slip, and a special flower, the Amur adonis. The field guide now has 25 flowers. - 8 new decorations (pinwheel, sundial, mandarin tree, stone water basin and more). - Seeds planted on your first day now bloom the next morning. - When you make a mistake, Mochidon tells you which rule it breaks. You can keep playing without them. - A full-screen ad may appear at most once a day when you return to the garden after today's puzzle.
