Tap Option, type H O I, the column autofits. The Windows Alt sequences for Excel, on your Mac. Free for 7 days, then one purchase. acceler8 brings the Windows Alt key sequences to Microsoft Excel on the Mac. Tap Option, type the letters you already know, and the command runs: Option H O I autofits the column, Option E S V pastes values, Option H M C merges and centers. THE LETTERS YOU ALREADY KNOW Years of Excel on Windows put the ribbon in your fingers. acceler8 keeps the Windows letters, so the same sequence works at work and at home. 305 sequences ship, across File, Home, Insert, Page Layout, Formulas, Data, Review and View, plus the classic Edit, Format, Insert, Data, Tools and View menu paths. THE WHOLE PASTE SPECIAL FAMILY E S V for values, E S F for formulas, E S T for formats, E S W for column widths, E S E to transpose, and the rest. An Enter typed out of habit afterwards is swallowed, so your selection stays where it is. EVERY SEQUENCE IS YOURS TO CHANGE Each sequence is one entry in a plain file: the letters, a name and an action. Edit it and acceler8 reloads the moment you save. Add a sequence for the thing you do ten times a day. SEE THEM ALL Show Sequences lists every sequence by ribbon tab, with search by name or by letters. OUT OF YOUR WAY acceler8 lives in the menu bar and acts only while Excel is the front app. Option held with another key is still an ordinary Excel shortcut. Nothing is installed into Excel. PRIVATE No account, no analytics, no tracking. acceler8 keeps nothing you type and sends nothing anywhere. REQUIREMENTS Microsoft Excel for Mac. acceler8 needs no keyboard permission. It asks only for permission to control Excel, so it can run the command you asked for. Try everything free for 7 days, then unlock acceler8 with a one-time purchase. No subscription. acceler8 is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. Excel is a trademark of the Microsoft group of companies.
