Audio from your AirPods and some other audio devices can drift and shift your Mac's audio balance off-center. Audio Balance fixes this by allowing you to lock the left-right balance. If the audio balance shifts, it's put back right away.
Set it once and forget it. Audio Balance runs quietly in the background, starts when you log in, and has no menu bar icon.
FEATURES
• Balance lock: Audio Balance watches your current output device and restores your chosen balance as soon as it drifts.
• Choose your lock point: keep it centered, or lock it anywhere between left and right. If you hear better in one ear, the balance stays where you need it.
• Follows your output: switch between AirPods, headphones, speakers or displays and Audio Balance keeps up.
• Optional notifications: get notified each time the balance is corrected, or keep it silent.
• Live status: see your current output device, its balance and when the last correction happened.
• Stays out of your way: close the window and Audio Balance keeps working. Open the app any time to change settings or turn it off.
PRIVACY
Audio Balance collects no data. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking.
Requires macOS 15 or later. Works with output devices that have an adjustable balance.
