UNDERSTAND YOUR STORAGE • See large app data, including data from apps such as Telegram and Google. • Explore folders and files sorted by size. • Find selected app caches, logs, development caches, build outputs and local device backups. • See storage that could not be fully explained instead of treating unreadable folders as empty. REVIEW, THEN CLEAN A large folder is not automatically junk. App databases, downloaded media and settings are different from disposable caches. ZerX separates the storage overview from cleanup selection and asks for confirmation before deleting anything. • Protected personal and system locations cannot be selected for deletion. • Recently active project caches and build outputs are not automatically selected. • Files move to the Trash by default. Restore them in Finder if needed; empty the Trash in Finder to free space. • Optional permanent deletion requires confirmation and cannot be undone. • For Telegram media, use Telegram’s own storage settings; do not delete its database. ACCESS AND PRIVACY Grant startup disk access in the standard macOS dialog; ZerX remembers the permission. macOS may request additional access, and some protected locations remain unreadable. Results reflect the access available. The App Store version cannot delete Time Machine snapshots. Reported sizes do not guarantee the same amount of reclaimed space. Files are processed on your Mac. No account, telemetry, analytics or advertising. Available in English, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, French and Russian. Change the language in Settings and restart ZerX. Requires macOS 13 or later. Supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Scan time depends on your files, disk and permissions.
