Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

The Quran with tajweed, tafsir and recitation, prayer times with the adhan, Qibla, adhkar, tasbih and widgets. Free, no ads, no account. MOQUTAH is a complete, free Islamic app: the Quran with tajweed, tafsir and recitation, accurate prayer times with the adhan, the Qibla, adhkar and tasbih, and step-by-step lessons on prayer and wudu. In Arabic and English. No ads, no account, no tracking. THE QURAN • The full Quran text (Madinah mushaf, Hafs narration), kept on your phone: read it without internet. • Read verse by verse, or page by page through the 604 pages of the Madinah mushaf. • Tajweed rules in colour, with a colour key and a short lesson for each rule. • Listen to any verse or a whole surah, with 16 reciters to choose from. The verse being recited is highlighted. • Tafsir for every verse and every surah: five Arabic tafsirs, including Al-Muyassar, Al-Jalalayn, Al-Baghawi and Al-Qurtubi, and four in English, including Saheeh International. • Bookmarks, and the app keeps your place. • Make the mushaf yours: page colour (white, cream or night), font and size. PRAYER TIMES AND THE ADHAN • Find your place with GPS. Your location stays on your phone. • 12 calculation methods, with Shafi'i or Hanafi Asr. The app can show the method used in your country; you choose. • Or use your mosque's own timetable, or enter your times by hand. • Hijri calendar. • 16 adhan voices, including Makkah and Madinah, with a separate Fajr adhan, or a sound file of your own. • For each prayer: adhan, notification or silent, and a reminder up to 60 minutes before or after the adhan. • Turn the phone face down to stop the adhan (while the app is open). QIBLA • A clear Qibla compass. ADHKAR, TASBIH AND YOUR GARDEN • Morning and evening adhkar, and a tasbih counter. • Your garden: each dhikr, each prayer you mark as prayed and each good deed you tick makes it grow. • Sunnah prayers: each one with its count and time, in simple words, with sources. Where scholars differ, the views are shown side by side. • Habit reminders, each off until you turn it on: before sleep, witr, duha, daily Quran, al-Kahf on Friday, and the Monday and Thursday fasts. LEARN • How to pray and how to make wudu, step by step, with videos. WIDGETS • Home screen widgets: prayer times, adhkar, a tasbih counter you count on directly, the verse of the day and the Hijri date. Each one glass or plain. Prayer times on the lock screen too. MORE • Arabic and English, right-to-left and left-to-right. • Send your mosque's timetable so others can use it. PRIVACY No account, no ads, no tracking. Your location, your own times, your bookmarks and your garden never leave your phone. Recitation audio and tafsir text come from their sources when you open them. Free, made as sadaqah jariyah. Sponsored by LSIC, a registered UK charity.
