Compare currency exchange rates near you and get the most for your money. Scan a board to share rates with other travellers. Money Maps helps you find a fair price for travel money, wherever you are. Bureaux de change rarely make it easy to compare. Money Maps puts walk-up board rates and online rates from exchange shops near you on one map, so you can see who gives you more before you walk in. Our mission is simple: clear, honest pricing for consumers. FIND A BETTER RATE NEARBY • Pick the currency you want and see rates on the map around you, or search any city or address in the world. • Switch to the list and sort by Best rate or Nearest, inside the radius you choose. • See a "You get" amount for the money you want to change, after the shop's published fees where we have them. • Rates that haven't been updated for a while are marked as not live and ranked lower, so old numbers don't mislead you. • Online-only rates are labelled, and some shops have an Order online link. • Get directions in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze, and share a shop with a friend. HELP THE COMMUNITY, EARN POINTS Rates change all the time, and every update helps the next traveller. Sign in with Apple to: • Update a shop's rates, or suggest a change when the shop runs its own Official board. • Capture the Board: scan a rate board live or upload a photo, and Money Maps reads the rates on your iPhone. • Add photos of shop fronts and rate boards. • Report a wrong rate, report a shop that has closed for good, or suggest an edit to a shop's pin, name, address, hours, phone or website. • Add an exchange shop that isn't on the map yet. You earn points for useful contributions, and you can see exactly how many each action is worth in the app. Points come off for rates confirmed wrong, rejected suggestions and fake closed-shop reports, so the map stays honest. Climb the monthly and all-time leaderboards, and invite friends with your code so you both get bonus points. MONTHLY PRIZE Each month, the member with the most points wins a prize. The prize can change from month to month and is shown in the app. Entry is free, you must be 18 or over, and nothing you buy affects your chances. Full rules: https://www.moneymaps.net/prize-rules. Claim your listing in the app or at moneymaps.net/claim to keep your details right and post your Official board. BROWSE FREE, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED You can explore the map as a guest. An account is only needed to contribute. You can delete your account at any time from the Me tab. GOOD TO KNOW • Money Maps is a guide to cash exchange rates. It is not a trading app, and we don't exchange money. • Rates are indicative and come from shops, public chain websites and the Money Maps community. Always confirm the rate at the counter before you exchange. • Money Maps is free and shows a small banner ad from Google AdMob. Improved board scanning: it reads more rates from photos and live scans, and leaves unreadable numbers blank for you to check. You can now save walk-in and online rates separately for a shop. Fee bands are now applied in the calculator, such as at Gatwick and ICE desks in Ireland. Bug fixes and stability improvements.
