Every level is a handmade cardboard box with a test rig inside: a lift that won’t budge for less than a kilo, or a glass pane right next to an egg. The game never hands you the answer. You look around the room, pick something and photograph it. The game cuts it out and works out what it’s made of and how heavy it is.
Then physics takes over. Glass shatters and rubber bounces. A sock lands with a flump, which is exactly what the egg was hoping for.
THE LAB
You’re the new night-shift tester at Pell & Pell, a two-storey lab that tests parcels before they’re posted. It’s run by sixty-year-old twins. Dot works downstairs and writes sticky notes. Ferdie works upstairs, types his memos in capitals and builds rigs he believes are impossible. On your first night his brass test weights vanish, so every box has to pass with your things. Their great-niece Nell, who is ten, takes the case.
