Sangat 1.50.0: a riyaz to follow. Sangat now hands you riyaz routines, one part at a time: a morning riyaz, kharaj, Yaman in the evening, alankars, and five minutes for a busy day. Home offers the one for the hour, and each part tells you when it's done. Save a copy of any routine, with the speeds you sang. The bookmark saves a practice in one tap, and your routines and saved practices are a tap away on home and on the riyaz screen. The singer, sitar, bansuri and violin now play free for a minute and a half a day. Thank you for practising with Sangat.

Sangat 1.49.0: your riyaz in numbers. Home counts down to today's riyaz day and shows your week, where three riyaz days make a riyaz week. Milestones come along the way, and on the big ones a picture to share and a tihai on the tabla as you reach it. Your riyaz now opens with your record, your bests and the ragas you've sung by the hour, and the daily reminder says how your week is going. Thank you for practising with Sangat.

Sangat 1.48.2: in Know your swaras, Sing it now hears only you. On the phone's speaker the tanpura rests while you sing, so it is never taken for your voice; with earphones it plays on. Any sung question can be skipped, so the ear check never leaves you stuck. And clearer words for the courses and for Know your swaras. Thank you for practising with Sangat.

Sangat 1.48.0: Know your swaras, ear training of its own. Hear any swara, name it by ear, or sing it from its name while Sangat listens, one at a time or up to eight in a row. Swaras step by step goes from Sa, Ga and Pa to all twelve, starting with a two-minute ear check, with a certificate at the swara check. One swara at a time is free; two to eight at a time and the swara check come with Pro. Home now has one row for your courses. Sangat 1.47.0: home offers what you practised last, one tap to play it again. After a riyaz with Listen, it shows the note to work on next, and your daily reminder names it; you can switch the reminder on when you stop a riyaz. Your riyaz now shows your last eight weeks: time, notes in sur, and the note you are working on. When the harmonium drowns out your voice, Sangat suggests earphones. Sangat 1.43.0: the Radio, and many more bandishes. • Radio: ragas played for you on sitar, bansuri, violin and harmonium, with tabla and tanpura. Pick a time of day or a mood. Save a piece you love and hear it again, share it as a picture with a link, or set a sleep timer. Free for everyone. Open it from home, or tap Hear it played on any raga's page. • Sangat Pro now has 482 bandishes in 55 ragas to learn line by line: swaras first, then the words, then from memory.

Sangat 1.42.0: sing with a sitar, bansuri or violin. • Switch on a sitar, bansuri or violin in the row of instruments, and it plays each line of your riyaz in your raga, at your Sa and in time with the tabla, beside the harmonium or in its place. They are recordings of a real sitar, bansuri and violin. • The sitar, bansuri, violin and the singer are part of Sangat Pro. Without Pro you can still hear each one for 45 seconds of riyaz a day, so you know how it sounds. • Sangat now speaks Bengali, Kannada and Punjabi, as well as Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati. Tap the language button at the top, or Settings › Language. • In these languages a riyaz time says the part of the day, as you would say it: 2 pm is afternoon, not evening. • Dates on your riyaz, its review and your membership are written in your language.

Sangat 1.40.0: hear the sam, and see your riyaz over the weeks. • A soft bell rings on sam, the first beat of the taal, and the ring shows sam and khali. You can turn the bell off in Settings › While practising. • Your riyaz shows the whole month, and the notes now in sur that weren't in your first week. Free keeps your very first recording, so you can hear how far you've come. • When you finish a riyaz, the app offers to remind you each day, if you'd like. • Listen hears you better over the harmonium and keeps up with the line you sing. • If you stop Find my Sa early, it still suggests a Sa, and Settings now starts with your Sa. • Today's riyaz: Finish on the last step ends it, and Speed up as I go no longer stops the plan. • Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati text is no longer cut off at the top. • Invite a friend: Settings has your own code to share.
