Choose the apps you use for work, then block access with one tap or a schedule. Put your phone back in your pocket. Your inbox can wait. CLOCK OUT WITH ONE TAP Flip the big switch and your selected work apps are blocked. Take an hour off, stay out until 9 am, or protect the whole weekend. Need to get back in? You can end a session early. SET YOUR HOURS. IT FLIPS ITSELF. Choose evenings, weekends or your own days and times. Schedules start and end automatically, even when the app is closed. Set a one-off date range for a vacation, too. Work apps stay blocked until it's time to return. BLOCK THE APPS THAT BRING WORK HOME Choose work chat, email, calendars and other apps that keep pulling you back in. You can also select categories and websites through Apple's Screen Time picker. Out of Office applies shields to your selection during your time off. GET A HEADS-UP Optional reminders let you wrap up before a session starts and know when it ends. Choose your reminder timing, or turn reminders off. SEE YOUR TIME OFF AT A GLANCE Home Screen widgets show your status, time remaining and upcoming schedules. They turn green when you're out of office, and let you flip the switch without opening the app. Lock Screen widgets keep your status and countdown close by. A LITTLE BACKUP WHEN YOU TRY TO PEEK Open a blocked app and a shield appears instead. Expect a gentle intervention with a sense of humor: "No means no. Get back to chill." The message changes as you try again. Your evening deserves some backup. YOUR WORK APPS STAY PRIVATE Blocking uses Apple's Screen Time and happens on your device. Your app selections and schedules stay there, too. Apple provides private tokens for your selections; we don't receive the names of the apps you picked or read their contents. No account needed. We use analytics to understand feature use and install sources; see our privacy policy for details. Out of Office works on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
