Begin with something you made an effort to do today, then reflect on the people who helped make it possible.

Recognise something you tried your best to do—whether it was learning something new, caring for your health or fulfilling an everyday responsibility.
• Appreciate people you know
Reflect on the people whose help, guidance or encouragement supported that effort.
• Appreciate people you do not know
Notice the people whose work and contributions supported that same effort behind the scenes, even though you may never have met them.
YOUR DAILY APPRECIATION JOURNAL
Complete the three reflections to mark a “Mudita Day.” Add more notes whenever you have more to appreciate. Look back on previous entries and rediscover the efforts and contributions you have recognised along the way.
FOLLOW YOUR PROGRESS
Keep track of today’s reflections, your current streak and your total Mudita Days. As your practice grows, collect bronze, silver and gold coins—small reminders of the time you have taken to pause, reflect and appreciate.
