Capture your daily life with Flipcorder, the retro camcorder that turns everyday moments into a single, unedited home movie.
Flipcorder helps you capture everyday life like an old home video, bringing a delightful retro twist to your memories. It's built for those who love the nostalgic charm of a retro camcorder and want to document their moments without fuss.
Record Daily Flips
• Experience the unique daily tape, where everything you film lands on today’s dated 30-minute cassette, ordered chronologically for a true retro camcorder feel.
• Easily record 20-second “flips” with a simple tap, each stopping and saving automatically with a calm countdown.
• You always have control to record longer flips, but the day's tape is always limited to 30 minutes.
One Unedited Home Movie
• Relive your day as a single, unedited home movie, playing back exactly as you filmed it - authentic video the way it used to be.
• Apply classic VHS looks with bleeding color, tracking wobble, and a date stamp, or choose the crisp, clean aesthetic of MiniDV to your footage.
• Change a tape’s look at any time thanks to the untouched original footage, giving you complete control over your aesthetic.
Save and Share Memories
• Save your whole tape to Photos as one movie with a title card, either with the chosen camcorder look rendered in or as clean 1080p video, making sharing effortless.
• Enjoy gentle reminders you can turn on, with an afternoon nudge if today’s tape is blank and an evening note when it’s ready, helping you never miss a moment without guilt.
• Take control of your home screen with widgets that show today’s tape as a cassette, allowing one tap to open the camcorder or play your day’s movie.
Built for iPhone Duo
• Unlock exclusive features for iPhone Duo, where the fold acts as the power switch, a camera lens is on the cover, and the subject sees a live retro preview with a REC light on the outer screen.
• Close your iPhone Duo to instantly save a flip, simplifying your recording process and keeping you focused on the moment.
Flipcorder is a one time purchase, with no subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, or accounts. Your videos stay solely on your phone.
Open Flipcorder tomorrow morning and make your first home movie memory.
