Work plans agreed with parents, medals that level up with every achievement, and one-tap online halqas. Himma makes Quran memorization easier and more joyful
Himma is the companion of Quran teachers, parents and students on the journey of memorizing the Holy Quran.
For teachers
• Log a recitation in seconds: today's review (السابق) with mistakes and a grade per surah, and the new portion for the next session.
• New memorization and revision in one card, with as many surahs as you need.
• It carries on by itself: last session's new portion becomes today's review, and the next portion is suggested right after it.
• A parent message in your own format — review and edit it before sending, with suggested encouraging phrases.
• Choose who receives it: father, mother or both.
• Siblings who come together share one screen, and can get one combined message.
• A schedule per student and a daily timetable.
• Grade with stars or verbal grades.
For parents
• What to recite next — new portion and revision.
• Every past session with each surah's grade and mistakes.
• A progress report that always encourages: ayahs memorized, moments worth celebrating and the weekly trend — never comparing children.
• Ready-made encouragement messages, worded for a son or a daughter.
• Follow all your children from one account, even in different circles.
For students
• The next portion and the session time.
• Past sessions and progress in encouraging words.
• Messages from the teacher and family.
Reminders
• 15 minutes before each session and at its start — for the student, the parents and the teacher.
Privacy & safety
• Parents sign in with a family code only, students with a personal code — no SMS needed.
• Each teacher sees only their students; each family sees only its children.
• An educational tone check suggests gentler wording for harsh words or comparisons.

What's new in Himma
For teachers
• An optional AI-written caring note in the message to parents — you review it before sending
• Halqa day off: declare a day or a period with no halqa, for everyone or some students — no reminders, no absences, families are notified
• A reminder when a past halqa wasn't recorded, with one tap to record it on its day
• Full-screen mushaf with one tap on the recitation screen
• Siblings: those who recited are marked, and the mushaf moves on to the next one
• All of the screen's tools in one ⋮ menu
For parents
• A monthly report for each child: attendance, new ayahs, a strength and a tip for home — with a notification each month
• Write an encouragement for your child with AI
• A day the halqa didn't take place never counts as an absence
The mushaf
• New index: surahs, juz, bookmarks and search
• Translation and tafsir under each ayah, in several languages
• Repeat ayahs to memorize, with a pause to recite them back
• Surah player: repeat the surah, its name updates as it moves on, a steady time counter
• Smoother zoom by pinch or slider, with even mushaf lines
• Swipe from the end of the mushaf back to its beginning
Plus fixes and improvements in speed and colours.
