PRECISE DOUGH MATH
Scale to a target mixed dough weight or total flour weight. Adjust hydration, salt, starter weight and starter hydration. CrumbScale counts the flour and water inside your starter, then shows exactly how much flour and water to add. Add optional yeast, oil or butter, and sugar by percentage. Invalid combinations are explained before you save.
YOUR RECIPE SHELF
Save, edit and delete recipes with your own method notes. Clearly labeled sample formulas help you get started. Share a plain-text ingredient list through the system share sheet.
REMEMBER EACH BAKE
Keep a dated journal with bake names, personal ratings and observations about fermentation, crust and crumb. Revisit and edit entries as you learn.

All calculations use grams. Total hydration includes added water and starter water; water in other ingredients such as milk, eggs and butter is not estimated. Dough weight is mixed weight, not final baked loaf weight. Baking times and results vary with flour, temperature and technique.
