Calls connect more reliably. When two people call each other at the same moment, FAAB now joins them in one call instead of ringing a second one. The first call to someone you have just added connects on the first try. Your phone rings more reliably: FAAB keeps its connection to Apple's push service up to date, still rings when your iPhone's clock is off, shows a call that came too late as missed, and tells you when a Focus silenced a call. People who add you are saved on your phone, and the Calls tab shows their name instead of "Someone". Louder ringback while the other phone rings, and FAAB's own ringtones — choose Silk, Pulse or your iPhone ringtone in Settings › Notifications. FAAB tells you when a newer version is in the App Store.

Add a person to a live call. On a connected direct call, tap the person-plus button and pick a contact: they ring, and the call becomes a grid. Every time someone joins or leaves, the call gets a new key — a person you add cannot hear what was said before, and a person who leaves cannot follow what comes after. The one who added someone can stop ringing them with one tap. Group calls redrawn: portrait tiles, two on top and one centred below for three people, a green frame on whoever is speaking. Messages arrive sooner: what your notifications already showed is in the chat the moment you open FAAB, before the connection is back. Screen privacy is now a switch in Settings › Security: keep the cover in the app switcher, or turn it off for a smoother switch between apps. Photos and clips in chats are drawn at a calmer size with real previews. Paste from the clipboard, or share from other apps, and see the preview first. Vault links open inside FAAB, after the person who shared the file is added to your contacts. FAAB now checks for a required update on launch, so an unsupported version sends you to the App Store instead of failing quietly.

New in FAAB: the Quantum Secure Vault. Keep photos, videos and files sealed on your phone, each under its own key. Sort them into folders, open them in the iPhone's own viewers, and share one with a link you can turn off at any time. Secure Cloud keeps your account, contacts, chats and vault safe if you lose or change your phone. Everything is sealed on this phone first — FAAB can't open it. A new phone signed in to the same Apple account restores it with one tap, and you can add an optional recovery key. Share from any app: in Photos, Files or anywhere else, Share › FAAB sends to your chats or saves to your vault. Photos zoom like the Photos app, and videos play in the iPhone's own player, with sound even when the phone is on silent. Signing up is easier: get your code by text message or ask for a call that reads it to you, and the code from Messages fills itself in. Your number is tied to your account, so a restore asks for the same number. A calmer, cleaner FAAB: stories are gone, new silk artwork made for today's iPhones, and a Calls tab that reads like the Phone app.

Calls have sound from the first second, and a Speaker you turn on while calling stays on when the call connects. If the microphone is slow to start, FAAB tries it again instead of ending the call. Leaving FAAB during a video call keeps your video going in Picture in Picture, and no black window is left on screen after a call. Adding people is easier: share your QR code as a picture or as a link that adds you, and people you add who have the latest FAAB get you too. Notifications lead with the sender and show the message (you can turn this off in Settings), with Reply and Mark as Read from the lock screen. A deleted message's notification goes away. Groups: people you add stay in the group, leaving a group you are alone in deletes it, Group info adds people from your contacts and lets the owner make admins, the header shows who is typing, and group calls can be minimized and float in Picture in Picture. FAAB now follows your phone's language: Arabic on a phone set to Arabic, English otherwise.
