Word Inlay is an English word puzzle game. Put one word inside another to solve a clue. BIT with AND tucked after its first letter becomes BANDIT.
Word Inlay gives you a set of whole-word tiles and clues. Choose an outer word, choose an inner word, then find the gap where it belongs. Keep both words in order and use every tile once to finish the puzzle.
Start with six puzzles that teach the rules, then work through a catalog of 1,000 English word puzzles. As a board fills, each answer leaves fewer tiles for the remaining clues.
All puzzles are free. Hints, undo, redo, and reset are included, so you can revise an answer or try a different fit.
Play offline on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with progress saved on your device. The clues and word tiles stay in English.
