Svaya Chat
Private chat for close groups
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: back up your gardens to your own iCloud or Google Drive, encrypted on your phone, and restore them on a new phone with 24 recovery words. No accounts, no ads.
Svaya is a private messenger for the small groups in your life: family, close friends, the hiking crew, the book club. Each group is a garden, and only people you invite can get in.
NO ACCOUNTS, NO PHONE NUMBER
There's no sign-up. Your identity is a key made on your phone. Nobody can look you up, and you don't hand over your contacts.
END-TO-END ENCRYPTED, NO SERVER COPY
Messages and photos go straight between members' devices, encrypted end to end. Svaya keeps no copy of your conversations on any server.
INVITE-ONLY GARDENS
Show a garden's QR code or send its invite in a message. Someone already in the garden lets each new person in, so strangers can't reach you. The garden's creator can remove members.
WORKS WHEN THE INTERNET DOESN'T
With no signal, nearby Svaya phones can pass encrypted messages along over Bluetooth until they reach your garden. Phones that carry a message for a garden they aren't in can't read it.
CATCH UP ON WHAT YOU MISSED
Ask for a short summary of a busy conversation. It's made on your device, or on a garden member's device that offers it, never by a cloud AI service. Needs Apple Intelligence on your device, or a garden member whose device can summarize.
NOTIFICATIONS THAT STAY PRIVATE
New messages arrive while the app is closed. The notification travels encrypted and is decrypted on your phone.
SAFETY BUILT IN
Block anyone, report messages, and agree to community terms with zero tolerance for abuse.
Free, with no ads and no tracking.
