Coin Circuit is a puzzle game about a city that lost its lights, and a fox named Flint who wants them back. You play by drawing chains through matching coins. Three or more, side by side, no diagonals. When a chain clears, every coin in it sends a spark into the generators next to it. Fill the generators before you run out of moves and that part of the city switches back on. It sounds simple, and the first few levels are. Then you start to notice that where a chain ends matters more than how long it is. A short chain tucked into the right corner can do more than a long one through the middle of the board. Later on the city pushes back a little. Insulators block your path. Some ice takes two hits to break. Relays have to be charged before their gates open and fresh coins can fall in. Long chains leave a special coin behind: six to eight coins gives you Lightning, nine to eleven a Magnet, twelve or more a Pulse. Close a loop of four or more coins and you get a Circuit Ring, which clears the loop and the edge around it. There are 180 levels spread over nine districts, from Lantern Lane all the way to Grand Illumination. Every win lights up one more spot on the map, and every 20th level wakes up the district's big landmark. You can replay any level to go after three stars. A few other things worth knowing: If you get stuck, use a hint ticket. Or sit on the board for 15 seconds without moving and a free hint shows up. Once a day you get a free spin on the Daily Charge machine. It always pays out in hints, and there's no way to buy extra spins. You can play by dragging or by tapping coins one by one. Music, sound effects and city ambience each have their own volume slider. There's also a reduce motion setting and a high contrast mode. I made Coin Circuit to be the kind of game you can open for five minutes on the bus and close again without feeling like you owe it anything. Hope it works that way for you.
