Video Lessons for Beginners
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Learn to crochet cute amigurumi with close-up video lessons, round by round, for right and left hand. Try the Magic Ring and Round 1 of five Yon characters first.
Yon Crochet teaches you to crochet cute amigurumi characters, one small step at a time.
VIDEO LESSONS FOR REAL BEGINNERS
Every lesson is filmed close up and split into short clips, round by round, so you always know what comes next. Right hand and left hand editions. Captions and voice in English, French and Vietnamese.
FREE DEMO LESSONS
Watch the Magic Ring and Round 1 of Linda, Pug, Chuck, Spadina and Tango for free, no card needed. The rest of each lesson comes with the lesson.
ONE LESSON, OR EVERY LESSON
Buy a single lesson once and keep it, right and left hand. Or join Yon Plus for every released lesson, new lessons the day they come out, the written pattern for each lesson and unlimited hearts in the pattern trainer.
PROJECTS THAT KEEP YOUR PLACE
Each lesson becomes a project with its own row counter, notes, photos and yarn, so you can put it down and pick it up again. Add your own patterns as a PDF, photos or text.
LEARN TO READ PATTERNS
The pattern trainer teaches you to read a crochet pattern in small daily lessons, taught by the Yon characters.
TOOLS FOR EVERY MAKE
Row counter, increase and decrease spacing, stitch and yarn calculators, hook sizes, US and UK abbreviations, a unit converter, colour palettes and yarn match with the camera.
A KIND COMMUNITY
Share what you make, ask for help and cheer others on. Report and block are always one tap away.
Daily nudges, streaks, coins and badges keep you going. Already have Yon lessons? Sign in with the same email and they are here.
