InFocus Portal
The InFocus class hub
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
InFocus Portal is the production hub for InFocus, Palo Alto High School's student broadcast class. It needs an InFocus Portal account from the class.
For students:
• Home: what's due next, your package this cycle and your grades at a glance
• Packages: every stage from pitch to final cut, with uploads from your camera roll and producer feedback
• Calendar: show days, who's anchoring and on PA, and The Show
• Messages: your package group chats and direct messages
• Grades, extension requests, equipment checkout and livestream sign-ups
For producers:
• Groups: review stages and approve or send back with feedback
• Package Cycles, Publishing Queue, Master Calendar editing, the PA script and the Grade Editor
Notifications arrive for everything Portal emails you, and tapping one opens the right screen.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
More of the Portal is now built into the app: student stages and uploads, Groups review and Final Cut grading, timecoded media review, the teleprompter, show upload, Master Calendar notes, story ideas, the Class Board, equipment and livestream tools, Admin, Managers and Passwords.
Meetings: Join takes you straight into the call, the app no longer asks for camera and microphone access every time, and every screen around a call has a Close button.
Teleprompter is in More, under Production.
Livestreams shows the ones you manage.
