What's new in Pouch 1.1.2: • On macOS 26, clicking Pouch's icon in the menu bar opens its menu again instead of quitting Pouch. • New companions catch your files: a giraffe, three snakes, an octopus and a dachshund (Settings › Drag & Drop › Your companion). • Redrawn paws, more playful: they curl their fingers around the file they catch, and long arms and necks keep their markings. • Random: a different companion comes out each time, among the ones you check. • Pouch now receives full-page captures from Pouch Full Page, its extension for Chrome: they land on the shelf and in your captures folder (Settings › Screenshots › Browser Extension). Pouch only listens on your Mac and never connects to the internet. • Dragging the last file out of the side shelf now hides it every time, as “Hide when empty” says. Thanks for using Pouch! What's new in Pouch 1.1.1: • The paw can now reach further: in Settings › Drag & Drop, the Length slider under “Your paw” stretches it up to the middle of the screen. • Quick Look opened from the shelf now shows in front of every window. Press Space to close it and again to bring it back, in full screen too. Clicking in another app closes it. • Under “Add new screenshots to the shelf”, Settings now explain how to get them there at once, with a button that opens macOS's Screenshot toolbar (⇧⌘5). • When you select an area to capture, the magnifier keeps up with the pointer. • A locked file dragged out of the shelf now leaves the shelf where it is, even with “Hide after dragging a file out” on. • In the Island, System Status shows each app's share of the whole Mac's CPU, its helper processes included, and high memory pressure, heat or low disk space now show in the notch for 10 seconds instead of keeping the Island open. Rest the pointer against the edge where the shelf sits to bring it back. • Screenshots taken with ⇧⌘3, ⇧⌘4 or ⇧⌘5 can land straight on the shelf: turn it on in the Screenshots or Shelf settings. • The cat paw is more reliable with screenshot thumbnails dragged one after another, and comes out on the display you're working on. • The Island stays out of sight while your display is mirrored to a projector or a TV.
