• Hemera is now called Mera. Your journal, your settings and your iCloud stay just as they were. • Settings has been reorganized: what belongs together is together, with less text and the same words as on the rest of your iPhone. • You can now turn off On This Day in Settings. • Trash is now called Recently Deleted. • Import now sits in Settings, next to Export. That's also where you bring in your archive from Day One in one go.

• Sharper photos: when you open an entry, Hemera downloads the original photos from iCloud, so they're sharp when you open them or zoom in. • New in Settings: choose how much space downloaded originals may use, or clear them. Your originals always stay in iCloud. • With Optimize iPhone Storage, small photos are no longer compressed a second time. • The weather source now appears as a single quiet line below the entry.

• Hemera is now available in 18 languages, including German, French, Spanish and Japanese. • Photos from another day? Hemera asks whether to use their date. • The first line of a new entry automatically becomes its title. • Sharing now shows who you share your journal with. • Fix: typing below photos made the text jump to the top. • Fix: the menu on iOS 26 and the Participants screen work as they should.

• Map: see your entries on a map and find memories by place. • Photos the way you're used to: swipe down to close, pinch to zoom, and share or save them to Photos. • Optimize iPhone Storage: originals stay in iCloud, with a lighter version on your iPhone. • Location and weather are added to new entries automatically. • Add videos, rename and delete tags, and shake to undo. • A calmer editor with a single bar above the keyboard. • Fix: a photo could disappear if you typed right after it.
