HookOn – Leave Moments
Hang moments at places
Only for iPhone

Leave photos, videos and voice messages right where they happened. Your friends can only open them once they're standing there.
HookOn lets you hang moments right where they happened.
Take a photo or video, record a voice message or attach a document – and leave it at your spot for one or more friends – or for everyone nearby. They see on the map that something is waiting for them, but they can only open it once they're there themselves.
• For your friends: add friends with an invite link, a QR code or their username.
• Open on the spot: a hook only opens once you're there – within 25, 100 or 500 metres, as its creator chooses. Until then, the guide shows you the way.
• Notified nearby: if you happen to pass a hook for you, HookOn lets you know – even with the app closed, if you allow it.
• Make it yours: text, stickers with place, weather and date, emojis, drawings and filters – on photos and videos.
• Opened and time left: see who has already opened your hook and how long it keeps hanging.
• Widgets: what's waiting for you on your Home and Lock Screen – and the way to the hook, live.
• Replies and likes: react to a hook or answer with one of your own.
• Easy sign-in: with your e-mail address and a code, no password, no phone number.
• Safe: hooks for you only come from friends you've confirmed; public hooks are checked before they appear; content can be reported and users blocked.
• 45 languages, light and dark.
HookOn comes from Basel and keeps your data in Switzerland. No ad tracking.
Ratings & Reviews

New in HookOn 1.0.3:
• HUX: 1 metre = 1 HUX. The farther a hook travels to you, the more HUX you both get once you find it – your profile and your crew's ranking show where you stand.
• Public hooks: hang a hook up for everyone nearby. Each one is checked before it appears.
• On the way: the guide's map turns with you, and you zoom while filming by sliding your finger up or down.
• Lots of improvements under the hood: camera, uploads, map and sign-in run more reliably.
