Untilfree works out when your savings can cover your monthly spending, the idea behind FIRE (financial independence, retire early), and counts the days until that freedom day. TODAY • Your freedom day and a countdown that updates every midnight • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with your days until retirement (free for your first 7 days, then Plus; the large widget is Plus only) • A range, not false precision: cautious, base and optimistic dates side by side LIVING ON DIVIDENDS? • Choose "Dividend income" and enter your portfolio's dividend yield, free. Your savings goal is worked out from it, so you see the day your dividends could cover your spending. • Index/ETF investor? Use a yearly withdrawal rate instead (4% by default, the well-known 4% rule), also free. • Untilfree doesn't fetch prices or track holdings, so there is no stale market data: it works only from the numbers you give it. CALCULATE: HOW MANY DAYS? • A purchase: type in something you're tempted by and see what it would cost you in days of freedom. Then one tap: "Skipped", "Added to savings" or "Bought". Rent, groceries and your usual investing are already in your plan, so there is nothing to track every day. • Ideas: small changes built only from your own numbers; tap one to try it • Plan change: a raise, a cut or a windfall, and your new date YOUR PLAN • Your bills, smallest first: see which ones your savings already cover • Share cards and a weekly story, showing time only, never amounts HONEST NUMBERS • Everything is in today's money. Growth is after inflation (5% a year by default, dividends reinvested, compound growth included), and you can switch to cautious or optimistic. • One calm notification a day at most. No streaks, no guilt. • Currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, TRY. In English, Spanish, French, German and Turkish. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO (YET) • No portfolio tracking, dividend calendar or live prices. It plans; it doesn't track holdings. • No taxes and no account types such as 401(k), IRA, ISA or TFSA. Your dates are estimates before tax, and state pensions are not included. • No bank connection: you type in rough numbers yourself.
