Yezhko is calm English for children aged 5 to 8. The hedgehog explains what to do in your child's own language, and the English voice speaks only English. Your child listens, taps and plays until the new words and sentences simply stick.
TWO VOICES THAT NEVER MIX
• The hedgehog speaks your child's language: Slovak, Czech, Polish, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, German, Spanish or French.
• The English voice speaks only English: short sentences, one new thing at a time.
• The hedgehog steps back: he explains a game in full only the first time, then it is mostly English.
A WORLD TO EXPLORE
• 56 chapters and 500 words: food, animals, family, school, town, the sea, the zoo, space and more.
• Every place on the road has its own game: selling at the market, hanging out the washing, feeding animals at the zoo.
• Hide and seek, counting to a hundred, painting, memory, riddles, whole sentences and picture books read aloud.
• Every morning the English voice asks what the weather is like, and the valley changes to match.
CALM LEARNING
• No timers, no points, no “wrong”. When a child taps the wrong picture, the voice names what was tapped and asks again.
• A word counts as learned only after three first-try picks, on two days and in two different games. It comes back after 3 and 10 days.
REWARDS THAT ONLY GROW
The hedgehog's house, furnished with every few words learned, a meadow full of friends, a village along the road and a sticker album. Nothing can be lost or bought.
FOR PARENTS
• The valley and the village (11 chapters) and the first picture book are free, with no time limit.
• A subscription (monthly or yearly, the first 3 days free) opens the whole world, every picture book and everything new we add. It covers the whole family through Family Sharing.
• Settings, the list of words learned and the subscription are behind a parental lock. A child never sees a price.
• No ads, no analytics, no accounts. Works offline.
• The microphone is optional and off by default: the child hears themselves next to the English voice, and the recording is deleted at once. Nothing is recognised or sent.
