Gapmori is a visual spacing calculator for placing identical pieces at equal intervals across an opening: slats, battens, pickets, decorative panels, dividers and similar parts. Enter three numbers: the opening width, the width of one piece and the number of pieces. Gapmori calculates the gap, draws the layout to proportion and lists where to mark every piece, all measured from the same left edge. THREE WAYS TO HANDLE THE ENDS • Equal gaps: the space at both ends equals the space between pieces. A single piece is centered. • Ends flush: the first and last pieces touch the sides. • Custom margins: you set the left and right margins; the gaps between pieces stay equal. MARKS YOU CAN TRUST • Left edge, center or right edge for every piece, and the selected point is always shown. • Every position is calculated at full precision and rounded only for display. Rounded values are marked with ≈. • Gap and center-to-center distance are shown separately so they are never confused. • If two marks would look the same at the chosen precision, Gapmori warns you and offers a finer display. • Invalid input is explained next to the field, and an old result is never shown as if it were current. UNITS • Millimeters, centimeters, decimal inches and fractional inches such as 2 3/8. • Fractions in 1/16 or 1/32 inch steps; metric results to 0.1 mm. • Changing the unit converts your lengths instead of just changing the label. SAVE AND SHARE • Save named projects on your iPhone, then duplicate, rename or edit them. • Share a PDF with inputs, the drawing and a left/center/right table that continues across pages. • Share a PNG summary, or copy the marks as text. • Export and import projects as JSON files. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE No account, no subscription, no ads and no tracking. Everything works offline and your projects stay on your device. Please note: Gapmori calculates geometric layout only. It does not check structural safety, load capacity or building-code rules such as maximum baluster spacing. The drawing is to proportion, not a 1:1 printing template.
