New in 1.6: • Smoother “Shuffle”: each element glides into its new place while the background fades across, and quick repeated taps no longer pile up • Fixed a freeze or crash when changing layouts with Accessibility features turned on • Letter Rain, Ring Tunnel and other effects that repeat your words run smoother and use less battery • Faster editing overall, with saving done in the background

New in 1.5: • Smarter Motion Layouts: each layout is checked before it moves. When the lead stands out, text and background move together; airy styles and busy pages move only the lead; long text stays readable. On by default for Pro, and Shuffle brings the motion along • Animated Decorations: 12 line-art stickers that draw themselves, such as Postmark Ring, Paper Plane and Growing Tree. GIF and MP4 show them drawn stroke by stroke; images show the finished drawing • Your Line Art: import your own SVG line illustration and it becomes a sticker that draws itself • Signature: type a name and it’s signed in handwriting, then underlined • Particles, a new background family: Warp Stars, Confetti, Falling Petals, Fireworks, Merging Blobs, Snowfall, Twinkling Stars, Sky Lanterns. All of them stay clear of your text • 76 flowing backgrounds in all • Layout history: every Shuffle is kept; tap History in the Layouts panel to go back to any version • Not subscribed yet? The first tile in Layouts shows your own layout with motion

New in 1.4: • Carousels: tap Make a Carousel on the export screen and paste a long text; it’s split into easy-to-read slides, the other photos in your post get a slide each, every slide keeps the cover’s style and fonts, and the set saves to Photos in order. Add page numbers or one seamless background across the set (3 slides free, up to 20 with Pro) • Remove Background: lift the subject out of a photo right on your device and turn it into a die-cut sticker • My Style: save your colors, fonts, background and a corner signature, apply them in one tap, or make them the default for new posts • New Tall Post size, 3:4, so posts fill the Instagram profile grid without cropping • 5 new fonts you can use commercially, and you can import TTF or OTF fonts you’re licensed to use • Copy Sticker: copy your post without its background and paste it straight into a story or chat • Daily Quote widget: a new quote on your Home Screen every day; tap it to make a post. Or ask Siri: “Make a text post with Swaylia” • Seasonal templates for Halloween, 11.11, Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day appear first while they’re in season • Suggest 3 Headlines while editing text, written by Apple Intelligence on your device; your text never leaves it (requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence) • Overall Speed in the Motion panel slows down or speeds up every animation in the post at once; GIF and MP4 length follow (6 to 2 seconds) • Story on the export screen opens your Instagram story directly; posts that aren’t 9:16 go on as a sticker

New in 1.3: • Motion Layouts (Pro): turn on Motion Layouts in the Layouts panel and every layout comes with a text effect, a flowing background and a finish or flair. The thumbnails play, so you see the motion before you choose • The Motion panel now has two sides: one for the selected text, image or sticker, one for the whole background • A new Transitions tab with 8 cuts, such as Whip Pan, Spin Zoom, TV Off and Iris Out, for text, images and stickers • 40 more kinetic text effects in five new families (Shatter, Dance, Physics, Path and Play), 88 in all • Flowing backgrounds go from 4 to 68: Grid, Dots, Lines, Geometry, Comic, Transitions, Film & Light and Slides • Template posts and style suggestions come with matching motion, finishes and flair, and text stays clearer over patterns and light • Smoother editing while things move

Swaylia 1.2 brings motion graphics to your posts: • Motion Graphics: 8 title animations — Waterfall, Spring Pop, Soft Focus, Depth Assemble, Beat Slam, Speed Streak, Decode, Block Reveal • 48 kinetic text effects, plus 8 Rhythm motions that work on photos and stickers too • Flair: 15 light effects, including Lens Flare, Light Leak and God Rays • Finish: 16 type finishes drawn from the design guidelines, such as Gold Foil, Chrome, Neon and Holographic • Arabic and other right-to-left text now animates in reading order • Faster launch, with a new loading animation
