Pull back, aim the arc, let go — and watch a tennis ball ricochet off the shed, knock over a fort and send your rival flying into the pool. Backyard Wars is a turn-based throwing game with real physics, where every shot can turn into a trick shot.
THROW ANYTHING
16 throwables, from tennis balls and water balloons to slippers, boomerangs, a rubber duck and a cream pie. Each one has a job: the water balloon soaks, the slipper stuns, paint shakes your rival's aim, the pie covers their face in cream and mud slows them down. Earn new ones as you play or pick them up in the gear shop.
TRICK SHOTS PAY OFF
Bank shots off walls and roofs, break the supports under a fort, roll a barrel into your rival, or knock them clean off the map. Big moments earn big rewards — and you can save your best highlights as cards.
10 WORLDS, 150 STAGES
Fight from the Backyard to the Skate Park, Pool Party, Rooftops, Construction site, Beach, Carnival, Downtown and Rich Hills, all the way to the Mega Clubhouse. Every world ends with a boss who plays by their own rules. Puzzle, Survive, One Weapon, Sudden Death and Storm stages keep every world fresh, and HARD and SUPER HARD stages test the best.
WIN STREAKS AND BOOSTERS
Win in a row for free boosters: Long Aim, Extra Throw and Shield. Every win earns a stage score, and a near miss can still turn into a comeback with the "So close!" revive. Hearts refill over time, and the first world is free play.
YOUR CREW, YOUR NAME
Your fighter carries your name. Unlock crew kids with their own perks, upgrade your Clubhouse and dress up in outfits from Skater to Ninja.
SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY
A daily challenge on the same stage for everyone, daily deliveries, a free season track and seasonal events like Spooky Backyard and Snowball War.
CLIMB THE RANKS
Furthest stage, campaign score and longest hit on Game Center: today, this week, the last 30 days and all time, top 100 each. Your friends show up on the map, and rivals talk back in your language. Pass the phone for a head-to-head match on one iPhone, or challenge Game Center friends.

• Nearby Versus: open Versus on two iPhones and tap your friend's name. No Game Center needed, and you can rematch on both phones.
• Versus now shows your names instead of Player 1 / Player 2.
• Rematches: lose to a rival and they'll be waiting for you. Win it back for REMATCH WON!
• Chain reactions: break a support and let the water tank or the crate finish the job.
• Ricochet, long-range and trick finishes get their own celebration. Hit streaks and near-miss cheers too.
• A faded "Previous" marker while aiming, so you can fine-tune your last throw.
• After a win, Continue takes you straight to the next fight, even into the next world, and every replay gets a clear goal to beat.
